Perseveration of Thailand’s upstream waterway and forest in a sustainable manner is the goal

Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) Co., Ltd., has been partnering with "Raks Thai Foundation" to conserve water resources and the environment and rehabilitate the watershed forests by building check dams, planting trees, planting vetiver grass and seedlings that have encroached and degraded forests in Mae Suek watershed areas at Baan Huay Pak Kood, Mae Chaem District & Chiang Mai Province. This endeavor is aimed at elevating the quality of life for people in these areas by improving their water quality, access to clean water, and creating awareness in protecting the environment.

The cooperation has been helping rehabilitate and preserve Thailand’s upstream waterway and forest in a sustainable manner including education of local teachers and school children on water conservation by raising their awareness of the special programs.
